Reason #1: It causes the woman's 'hard to get' shield to spring up.

Yes it exists... all women have alarms in them where if they hear a
'stale' or cliche phrase, their internal defense uncontollably
increases.

Sadly, "Can I have your number" is ONE SUCH PHRASE (It's just as
alarming as if someone asks you this phrase - "Can you lend me some
money?").

So, when women hear that, they usually either say she doesn't give
out her number... or she'll get YOUR number instead and never calls.



Reason #2: It's easy for women to turn down or give a "No" reply.

Look at the way it's phrased - "Can I...?"

It makes the person asking it come from a position of "pleading".
NOT a position of power.

It's no secret that women are drawn to men who can project power,
so think about it... how much power does a man exhibit if he seems
to be seeking the woman to 'grant' her number to him.



Reason #3: The last few guys who TRIED to get her number probably
used it.

There's no point in coming across as "common". If a woman is of
quality, she'll have many guys attempting to get her number.

It happens to the extent she form patterns of what makes a guy
"common" and what makes a guy "interesting".

And when the common guy asks her for her number, she'll think,
"There it is again... another dude using that old stupid line."

Needless to say, she DOESN'T give away her number to the common
bunch. (Why should she? Anything that is common gets neglected
EASILY.)
